About the Role

Premere Rehab LLC, (dba Infinity Rehab) is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Exercise Therapist to join our team. As an Exercise Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing low-intensity progressive exercise and activity programs to older adult patients, promoting their optimal activity, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical and Communication: Provide low-intensity progressive exercise and activity programs to older adult patients in a safe and effective manner.
  • Employ strategies to gain patient participation and engagement with activity.
  • Follow treatment plans as directed and in accordance with department procedures and standards.
  • Monitor patient's response to intervention and adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain good judgment in difficult situations and take initiative in areas expected of them.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with moving in/out of bed, transferring from one surface to another, and walking safely.
  • Convey feedback and information from patient and/or family to therapy and nursing personnel as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with co-workers, patients, family members, and building personnel.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable and established confidentiality standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma and post-secondary course work in biological sciences, medical terminology, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • 0-2 years related experience with exercise, activity, and/or older adults preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently, take initiative, and be dependable.
