Strategic Inventory Planner

Job Summary
Serena & Lily is seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Merchandise Planning to lead our planning organization and drive inventory management strategies. This role reports to the SVP Merchandising, Inventory Planning & Sourcing and is responsible for devising and executing inventory management strategies and initiatives for the total Serena & Lily brand.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the planning organization for the 4 core brand divisions: Furniture, Upholstery, Textiles, and Decorative Accessories.
• Responsible for the inventory management of the brand, ensuring alignment with strategic, financial, and brand objectives.
• Own the brand Open to Buy with monthly re-forecasts and outputs to the finance and marketing teams.
• Drive inventory planning strategies to maximize financial results and optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing partners to ensure appropriate financial and inventory plans for new and existing products.
• Lead weekly leadership inventory review meetings, with a focus on business highlights and actions needed.
• Manage and develop the merchandise planning team of 10.
• Manage operational recommendations in-season and for future planning of inventory flow.
• Lead weekly cross-functional meetings, driven to action points to achieve inventory plans and efficiency.
• Drive calendar to meet critical dates and deadlines.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 10 years of merchandise and inventory planning experience.
• Highly proficient with Excel, inventory management systems, and sales analysis.
• Ability to create and present powerful and influential documents to the executive leadership team.
• Fully developed financial business acumen and understanding of inventory management.
• Ability to drive innovation and collaboration through strategic initiatives.

Compensation
$190-230K depending on experience
