Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Cost Accounting Processes: Ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation through effective management of cost accounting processes.
  • Conduct Profitability Analyses: Drive strategic decision-making by conducting thorough profitability analyses and providing key insights to management.
  • Compile Budget and Forecast Documentation: Provide key insights to management by compiling budget and forecast documentation.
  • Perform Variance Analysis: Identify and explain differences between budgeted and actual financial performance through variance analysis.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Ensure the integrity of financial data by preparing balance sheet reconciliations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Proven Experience in Cost Accounting: Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with PLEX software is a plus.
