Job Title: Retail Sales Associate Key Part Time

At Talbots, we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate Key Part Time to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer.
  • Drive sales by effectively communicating product knowledge, styling expertise, and fashion trends to customers.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver personalized service.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve sales goals and business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on fashion trends, product knowledge, and sales strategies to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including window displays, floor sets, and product displays.
  • Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security, and store maintenance.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a fashion or apparel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong product knowledge, fashion sense, and styling expertise.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and move around the store.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
