Key Responsibilities for Junior Field Service Engineer:
  • Diagnosing hardware malfunctions
  • Supporting the installation process and performing maintenance on designated electrical or mechanical machine components
  • Establishing manufacturing or installation standards by executing a variety of detailed calculations
  • Proposing technical solutions to the assigned team
  • Ensuring adherence to specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities
  • Documenting and compiling data related to current and prospective electrical engineering projects
  • Evaluating maintenance and modification methods for electrical systems and equipment
  • Creating specifications and schematic drawings for the procurement of electrical equipment and materials, including estimating costs for budgeting
  • Preparing quotes and engaging in negotiations with clients
  • Identifying and selecting electrical subcontractors and suppliers through bidding processes, if necessary
  • Overseeing or mentoring project team members from subcontractors or engineering firms
  • Coordinating and managing electrical maintenance and modification tasks
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications for Junior Field Service Engineer:
  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Technology, or a related field
  • Internship or cooperative experience in the Semiconductor sector is advantageous
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and related engineering documentation
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall repairs, or carpentry
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., electrical metering equipment, multimeters, calipers, gauge pins)
  • Strong customer service skills
