We are currently seeking a qualified Service Engineer to join our skilled team, contributing to a division that propels our business forward by delivering top-tier engineering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on STERIS/Cantel product lines, as well as related and competitive equipment.
  • Disassemble, replace, or repair defective components; rewire or reassemble as necessary; troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, and certify equipment for operational readiness using standard and specialized tools and testing equipment (e.g., schematics, diagrams, technical manuals).
  • Perform assigned administrative tasks, including daily computer synchronization, completing service reports, and maintaining tools and parts inventory as directed by Team Leaders and the Service Manager.
  • Utilize corporate applications (e.g., Siebel, Oracle, Sales Connection) to manage daily activities effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong, communicative relationships with customers, management, support functions, and the sales team.
  • Exhibit a courteous and professional demeanor while interacting with customers, contractors, management, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities, and comply with all STERIS and customer health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Provide solutions to customers to promote sales and growth in the field by effectively positioning STERIS/Cantel products and services, identifying opportunities, and referring leads to management and sales.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager. This position description is intended to provide a general overview of the work involved and may vary based on departmental needs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience with a general understanding of operating washing and sterilization processing units.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proven organizational mindset.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, along with a solid educational background and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of the English language is essential.
  • Completion of a recognized mechanical, electrical, or electronic technical training program.
