- Production Planning and Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production processes, adjusting schedules and workforce allocation as needed to address production demands.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications, conducting inspections of machinery, tools, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, identifying and troubleshooting issues with machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
- Training and Development: Train new employees on machinery operation, safety procedures, and company standards, providing ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
- Inventory and Resource Management: Monitor inventory levels of materials, tools, and supplies, ordering necessary materials and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure the machine shop operates in compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Strong Leadership and Team Management Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team of machinists, operators, and other shop personnel.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in a Machine Shop Environment: Required.
