About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Imaging Services Technician II to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, installation, repairs, adjustments, and calibrations of imaging equipment in assigned geography.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on imaging equipment
  2. Install and calibrate new equipment
  3. Provide technical support to other engineers and staff members
  4. Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and quality control
  5. Collaborate with sales and service representatives of imaging equipment

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in electronic technology, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment in a clinical setting
  • 3 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of imaging equipment
  • AAMI CBET/CRES or ACCE CCE certifications preferred
  • Strong knowledge of radiation physics, digital technology, and mechanics

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $33,300 - $39,000 per year
