Land Acquisition Specialist

SalaryWe are offering a competitive salary range for this position between $130,000 to $140,000 per year, paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.The expected annual bonus is based on divisional and individual performance.
About This RoleThis role ensures the overall success of land acquisition and development processes by overseeing due diligence and entitlement schedules from project inception through close of escrow.Essential duties include managing land feasibility studies, contract with consultants, analyzing potential risks, and participating in land planning as necessary.
- Conduct site visits with consultants for environmental review
- Assist with preparing land packages for submission to the Land Committee
- Develop entitlement strategies, submissions, and presentations
- Obtain entitlement approvals for projects
- Coordinate with jurisdictions to ensure timely processing
- Track and monitor multi-project entitlement schedules
- Maintaining effective cost and design quality controls
- Cordinating with interdepartmental groups
- Providing leadership to team members
- Modeling company values and vision
RequirementsThis role requires 3-5 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, preferably in due diligence and entitlement processes. Strong analytical skills and computer literacy are essential.
- Experience with complex project management
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Ability to read and understand plans, entitlement agreements, and other documents
