Salary Range
The salary for this position ranges from $40.09 to $76.12, influenced by various factors such as experience, education, and specific job responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
  • Document patient care accurately in accordance with established standards.
  • Direct and delegate care to team members based on their qualifications and competencies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of hospital policies and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Education:
A degree from an accredited School of Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of one year of RN experience in adult critical care or completion of an ICU training program within the last year.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Active State of Oregon nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
  • NIHSS and TNCC certifications required within twelve months of hire.

Skills:
Demonstrated ability to apply age-specific principles of care, promote positive interpersonal relationships, and support the medical center's philosophy and policies.

Working Conditions:
Physical demands include lifting, pushing, and the ability to perform CPR. Exposure to biohazards and the need to communicate effectively in a busy environment are also part of the role.
