**Job Overview:**

MasTec Utility Services is a leading provider of critical infrastructure construction and engineering services. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Line Superintendent to lead our crew in the placement of overhead electrical cables.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on ensuring crew safety, managing employee hours, and overseeing daily and weekly safety briefings/inspections. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining necessary materials, ensuring permits and licenses are in place, and assuming full responsibility for project quality and timeliness.

The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience, and a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred qualifications including OSHA 20 Certification and 8 or more years of experience in supervising and training skilled labor.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Obtain necessary materials and ensure permits and licenses are in place
  • Oversee work related to each project and assume full responsibility for its quality and timeliness
  • Ensure compliance with proper safety standards, procedures, and work practices
  • Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections
  • Disseminate information and ensure understanding of safety briefings
  • Perform aerial tasks, such as new cable installs, pole transfers, strand building, cable hanging, and lashing
  • Place overhead electrical cables
  • Connect wires and cables to terminals and attach/detach various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, buildings, or poles
  • Coordinate and supervise daily tasks for crew members related to digging and placing product

**Requirements:**

  • 6 years of experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

**Benefits:**

MasTec offers a competitive salary, ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, a 401k plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase plan.
