At the University of Vermont Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our esteemed anesthesia care team.

This role is critical in delivering exceptional anesthesia care and support, involving close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include administering anesthesia, conducting patient assessments, executing and monitoring anesthesia care plans, and ensuring the highest outcomes through effective teamwork.


Key Qualifications:
• Relevant Vermont license and certification by appropriate boards (NBCRNA for CRNA, NCCAA for CAA)
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field; Master's degree from an accredited CRNA or CAA program
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome
• Strong knowledge of medication safety and adherence to compliance protocols

Additional Information:
This position reports to the Clinical Coordinator/Lead of Anesthesiology APP Practice and the Business Director of Anesthesiology.
The role involves potential exposure to infectious agents and adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards.
