Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our esteemed Anesthesiology Team at the University of Vermont Health Network. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating on anesthesia care plans. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, privacy, and adherence to confidentiality policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia according to the defined scope of practice.
  • Assess patients and contribute to the development of anesthesia care plans.
  • Exhibit excellence, caring, safety, and cooperation in all patient interactions.
  • Maintain awareness of patient rights and confidentiality policies.
  • Support OR teaching of medical students and SRNA students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field.
  • Masters degree in Anesthesiology from an accredited program.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

About the Opportunity

As a CRNA at the University of Vermont Health Network, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, gynecology, vascular, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, urology, neurosurgery, and NORA. You will also have the chance to join the pediatric APP team if interested and experienced with pediatric anesthesia.
