Program Highlights

Internship Experience

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow a Sales Representative, gaining valuable insights into a career in outside sales. You will also collaborate with peers on a project addressing significant business challenges, supported by leadership throughout the process.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship period.
  • Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
  • If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have received a minimum performance rating of "meets expectations" (3) on the latest appraisal.
  • If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the current position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience in a team-oriented environment, including work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish is a plus.
