  • Develop, oversee, and assess the in-plant quality benchmarks essential for producing goods that align with all KO and industry standards for consumer safety.
  • Recruit, train, and guide Quality Lab Technicians and Lab/Sanitation Supervisors at the facility level to ensure they possess the necessary qualifications to execute all quality processes and protocols required for delivering high-quality products.
  • Lead the formulation and upkeep of documentation, processes, and procedures to ensure full compliance with all KO KORE standards, alongside any other industry or regulatory quality requirements in manufacturing.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with other Coca-Cola bottlers in the Quality Management domain to effectively exchange best practices, offer guidance where necessary, and stay informed about evolving trends and requirements that need to be implemented.
  • Proactively establish connections with local and state government bodies responsible for overseeing water usage and quality standards, discharge regulations, and related matters.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or GED) is mandatory; a college degree in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Management within the food manufacturing sector, preferably in soft drinks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the science behind soft drink production at the molecular level.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry quality standards for the manufacturing of food-grade products.
  • Specific expertise in all state and local regulations regarding water quality and raw materials for food-grade production.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards applicable in a soft drink context.
