Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at MCR Hotels. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow company and brand procedures for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas.
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties, including stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
  • Perform repetitive duties such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
  • Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies.
  • Conduct deep cleaning activities as needed within the guest room in conjunction with the maintenance department.
  • Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling.
  • Maintain company and brand standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms as assigned per shift.
  • Complete any special requests made by guests or other departments on behalf of guests.
  • Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk the entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience cleaning in a hotel or a related field.
