Job Title: Part-Time Group Facilitator

Job Summary:

The Children's Aid Society is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Group Facilitator to support the Director of Clinical Services Initiatives in implementing the Incredible Years Program and Parent Support Groups in York County.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program plans for the Incredible Years Program and Parent Support Groups.
  • Support the development and implementation of programs at all site locations.
  • Maintain and organize individual files for all program participants.
  • Provide mentorship to current and prior participants of the Incredible Years Program and Parent Support Groups.
  • Collect data required for proper evaluation of the program.
  • Provide excellent classroom management and supervision of student volunteers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all program-related materials, clients, and cases.
  • Ensure the integrity of projects funded with public and private funds.
  • Ensure the safety of the program, participants, and members at all times.
  • Track program expenses to ensure grant funds are spent within budgetary guidelines.
  • Assist with the planning of events for the Incredible Years Program and Parent Support Groups.
  • Provide resources to students and their families at the discretion of the Director of Clinical Services and YCA Coordinator Initiatives.
  • Educate the community, stakeholders, business leaders, and families about community supports surrounding education.
  • Attend required meetings and trainings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required. A degree in education, behavioral or social sciences, criminal justice, education, or organizational development, or a related degree is preferred.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and classroom management skills. Spanish fluency is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and organizations. Ability to work with children and families.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and supervise the work of volunteers and interns.
  • Demonstrated reliability and positive work habits.
  • Fully proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure.
  • Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with our insurance provider's requirements.
  • Ability to pass background checks in accordance with insurance provider and legal requirements.
Work Structure:
  • The part-time position is scheduled 20 hours per week. Must be able to support Afterschool program 2-3 days per week.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
