Job Summary

We are seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide Basic Life Support within the EMT scope of practice to include medical evaluation, treatment, stabilization, and transfer of care to the sick and injured.

The EMT will respond to emergency medical situations, maintain control and direct patient care at the scene, and provide training and instruction to lesser-trained personnel. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a state of readiness to respond to emergencies
  • Ensure equipment, tools, and protective equipment are in a response-ready condition
  • Provide Basic Life Support within the EMT scope of practice
  • Respond to emergency medical situations and maintain control and direct patient care at the scene
  • Provide training and instruction to lesser-trained personnel
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Current and valid nationally recognized certification as an EMT
  • Current and valid CPR certification for Healthcare Providers
  • A minimum of 1 year of EMT experience
  • Ability to stand, reach, and walk for long periods of time in a field setting
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
