A manufacturing client in the Chicago area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work in a vehicle assembly plant-based cross-functional team, focusing on improving current model quality.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for evaluating the impact of engineering changes on Body Shop tooling and processes. A typical week in this role will consist of 10% meetings regarding quality issues, 25% resolving quality issues on the plant floor, and 25% engineering change trials between the floor and computer.

The Manufacturing Engineer will serve as the single point of contact for Body Construction responsibilities. Additional responsibilities may include launch support for large-scale new model programs, launch lead on small-scale new model programs, and production support for issue resolution.

  • 0-6 years of experience
