Casting Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Casting Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of complex casting processes, including high pressure die casting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement casting processes for new vehicle programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility of casting designs
  • Provide technical support to Product Development and suppliers
  • Drive the New Model Launch of Complex Casting (NMLCC) process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Materials Science
  • 5+ years of experience in high pressure die casting, preferably for structural applications
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
