Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures, implementing effective corrective measures to reduce downtime.
  • Review downtime analytics and propose enhancements, projects, and initiatives.
  • Supervise significant repairs, overhauls, and upgrades of existing production machinery.
  • Assist in the installation of new production systems.
  • Develop and refine preventive maintenance (PM) strategies for all production machinery, concentrating on critical assets and optimizing maintenance schedules.
  • Manage parts procurement using the SAP system while adhering to established purchasing protocols.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and initiate corrective actions for unexpected downtime incidents.
  • Continuously evaluate downtime statistics, machinery component failures, spare parts inventory, maintenance documentation, and repair quality and efficiency.
  • Lead the creation and management of documentation to enhance repair quality and decrease repair durations for both scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
  • Assist in formulating standard operating procedures for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Support the establishment of an efficient spare parts inventory management system.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to maintenance personnel when challenges arise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of machinery.
  • Strong grasp of mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and thermal systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and industrial robotics, including Siemens PLCs and ABB Robotics.
  • Knowledge of maintenance techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Basic algebra skills and the ability to interpret measurements accurately.
  • Excellent reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using electrical hand tools and measuring instruments, with the ability to instruct technicians on their proper usage.
  • Capacity to follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and the ability to learn the functionalities of new equipment and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
