POSITION OVERVIEW:

This is an entry-level role focused on performing basic maintenance and repairs on the fleet of vehicles utilized by Global Medical Response Inc. The technician will support senior mechanics and assist with logistical tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts minor mechanical and electrical repairs on company vehicles.
  • Responds to vehicle malfunctions in the field as needed.
  • Provides logistical assistance to the department and supports senior mechanics.
  • Operates company vehicles in compliance with established safety protocols.
  • Completes all necessary documentation accurately and punctually using the designated repair orders.
  • Utilizes the maintenance database to record all completed tasks and assignments.
  • Participates in all required training related to fleet operations.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Maintains compliance with information systems security protocols, ensuring all users are aware of and adhere to security policies.
Core Accountabilities:
  • Ensures vehicles are repaired accurately and within designated timeframes.
  • Adapts to shifting departmental priorities effectively.
  • Responds promptly to diagnose and repair vehicles during roadside assistance situations.
  • Maintains a safe and organized work environment.
  • Ensures all documentation is thorough and well-organized.
  • Accurately tracks all parts and materials used.
  • Fosters positive working relationships with colleagues and maintains professionalism with external contacts.
  • Exhibits strong customer service skills.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
Experience and Skills:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality in sensitive matters.
  • Ability to read and interpret various documents, including repair manuals and instructions.
  • Ability to fulfill essential job functions consistently.
