We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and/or Diabetes Self-management Education/Training (DSMT) to patients. Your expertise will be essential in implementing patient care plans, gaining confidence and cooperation from patients and their families, and adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities- Provide MNT and/or DSMT to patients, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to implement patient care plans.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Completion of an accredited degree program and a supervised practice program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
- 2 years of recent relevant experience in a clinical dietitian role.
This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs, as identified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.
Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The salary range for this role is $50.21 to $65.25 per hour, and compensation may vary based on location and other factors.
