Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Level II to join our team in Burlingame, California.

This is a per diem/casual position with variable days and one weekend shift per month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • Provide clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • PT-Physical Therapist certification and licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
