Job Summary

DISH Network L.L.C is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical leadership for complex project work
  • Supply advanced technical direction and leadership to junior members of the data networking team
  • Work with various teams to gather requirements, create specifications, and design solutions for network projects
  • Provide hands-on implementation and ongoing care and maintenance for network projects
  • Develop implementations in lab environments to prove out design specifications according to a test and validation plan
Requirements
  • Practical experience related to WLAN, LAN, VLAN, RF standards
  • Experience with the amendments for roaming (e.g., 802.11k/r/v) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with high-availability/redundant wireless controllers like Cisco 9800 or 5508 required
  • General technical knowledge of Cisco networking platforms and protocols/features to include Catalyst, debug, STP, Port Security, Port Authentication, ACL, Rogue Detection/Mitigation required
  • Experience successfully supporting MacOS Wi-Fi, especially roaming in an enterprise environment is a strong plus
Compensation

$100,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.

Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

This will be posted for a minimum of 3 days or until the position is filled.
