We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at Thom Child and Family Services. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Multidisciplinary Assessments: Participate in team assessments to evaluate the developmental status of clients.
- Provide Direct Services: Offer developmentally appropriate services and activities for children 0-3 and their families.
- Develop Individualized Plans: Collaborate with families to create Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address the child's developmental needs.
- Document Progress: Maintain accurate records of client progress, including progress notes, reports, and assessments.
- Facilitate Parent-Child Interactions: Support families in promoting their child's development and encourage parent-child interactions.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience: Preference given to candidates with experience working with infants, toddlers, and families.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of family systems, early childhood development, and therapeutic relationships.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as strong organizational skills.
- Confidentiality and Professional Boundaries: Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computers and strong documentation skills.
- Transportation: Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
