Critical Care Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Boston Medical Center's ICU. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires exceptional nursing skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

About Our Unit:

We are a multidisciplinary ICU with 38 beds, staffed by experienced nurses and physicians who work together to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families.
  • Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
  • Update and manage patient records.

Requirements:

  • Licensed RN in Massachusetts.
  • At least 2 years of RN experience in med/surg setting.
  • ICU experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience.
