Job Summary

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of vegetation along our electric transmission and distribution lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vegetation along our lines to identify potential hazards and develop effective management plans.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure that vegetation management activities are carried out in accordance with our safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our contractors and stakeholders to ensure that vegetation management activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Must be a Licensed Registered Professional Forester with at least 5 years of experience in vegetation management.
  • Must have a strong understanding of forestry principles and practices, as well as experience with vegetation management software and equipment.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
