Community Caregiver: Join our team at Community Residences as a Community Caregiver and make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Community Caregiver, you will provide essential support and care in a residential setting, focusing on promoting independence and well-being.

About the Role: In this role, you will create a safe and supportive environment, develop strategies to promote independence, and implement individualized plans of care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to identify client needs, record progress, and document any barriers that may impact their growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, focusing on promoting independence.
  • Provide daily living support, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation.
  • Monitor medical, physical, and behavioral changes, and report any concerns to supervisors.
  • Administer medication, as prescribed, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in training opportunities, including in-service training, staff meetings, and conferences.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience in human services, and a valid driver's license. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Salary Estimate: $38,500 per year, based on location and experience.
