**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Delivery Expert to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects, including bridge construction, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive construction execution plan, outlining staffing, materials, equipment, subcontracting, and other services necessary to deliver the project successfully.
  • Liaising with Field Engineers and coordinating work between departments, employees, and sub-contractors at the bridge site.
  • Evaluating materials procured by procurement and directing their use to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Overseeing financial aspects of contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Coordinating with department managers to establish work plans and staffing for the project.
  • Liaising with Technical Department and/or designer in all technical aspects related to bridge construction.
  • Ensuring construction work is compliant with regulations, implementing and monitoring safety, quality control, and environmental programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working in large-scale civil infrastructure projects involving bridge construction.
  • Knowledge of bridge structures, including pre-stressed girder box & cable stayed bridges, reinforcement steel bars, stay cables, precast slabs, post-tensioning, and bridge segmental construction methods.
  • Experience in heavy lifting operations, coordinating various teams on site, and assembling and operating heavy bespoke deck equipment for segmental bridge construction.
  • Experience with Formwork (traditional and metallic frames), Reinforcement, and Concrete (bridges).
  • Knowledge of Quantity Surveying, Cost Controls, and Scheduling to provide reports to Senior Management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, MS Projects, Word, Power Point, AutoCAD, Bluejean, and Timesheet Tool.
