Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Sonographer II to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic exams and providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic sonographic exams using high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the body's internal structures.
  • Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in applied science and graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • One year of experience in sonography, with a strong understanding of routine ultrasound procedures and invasive procedures such as biopsies and amniocentesis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
