Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team at Hi-Peak Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for estimating and sales of new and established commercial roofs, including service and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate, compile bids, and generate service proposals accurately and completed on time.
  • Conduct site visits to collect bidding information and/or from plans/specs for service projects.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying labor requirements, and negotiating price.
  • Review and prepare proposed project bids in accordance with company bidding procedures with essential overall cost accuracy.
  • Participate in pre and post-review project meetings.
  • Complete project closeout documents.
  • Cultivate customer relationships to assist in winning profitable repeat business.
  • Maintain communication with project contacts throughout the entire project from start to finish.
  • Control and prioritize multiple activities while handling multiple projects.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of estimating software.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad or similar design software.
  • At least 5 years of experience estimating complex commercial/industrial roof system projects.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers' requirements for warranty.
  • Proficient with database estimating digitizer computerized estimating software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Motivated and a self-starter with a professional appearance.
  • Ability to give instructions and clearly explain problems or situations.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Team-oriented.
