Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in a dynamic outpatient cardiac care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound evaluations of patients with minimal supervision as part of the Cardiology team.
  • Obtain ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries with two-dimensional image and/or Doppler ultrasonic signal documentation.
  • Assist cardiologists in various procedures, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
  • Maintain accurate patient records and logs, inputting data into our computerized system.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of healthcare experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound or twelve months of full-time work experience performing clinical echocardiographies.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Echocardiography experience, particularly in pediatric echocardiography.
