Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist at Summa Health System, you will operate Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce high-quality Diagnostic C.T. Scans and diagnostic radiographs. You will ensure all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. You will evaluate images with Radiologists, take additional images as needed or requested, and assist with procedures of an invasive nature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce high-quality Diagnostic C.T. Scans and diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.
• Evaluate images with Radiologists, take additional images as needed or requested.
• Assist with procedures of an invasive nature.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
• One (1) year Radiology Technology experience preferred.
• CT Registry preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manual dexterity sufficient to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, apply and adjust restraining devices, and administer intravenous injections of contrast.
• Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians, and other hospital employees.
• Ability to lift and position patients.
• Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures.
• Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records.
• Ability to initiate CPR and hold CPR Certification.
