Position Summary
TCC invites applications for the role of Psychology Professor on a tenure-track basis. This full-time position involves teaching courses from our Psychology curriculum, including Research Methods. The selected candidate will engage in efforts to enrich our curriculum and diversify course offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in General Psychology, Research Methods, Lifespan Development, and Human Sexuality.
- Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to enhance program and curriculum development.
- Participate in the design of new courses that reflect a commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Support a diverse student body through effective teaching strategies and meaningful feedback.
- Engage in service to the college through committee participation and professional development.
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and career pursuits.
- Contribute to departmental and institutional governance.
- Actively participate in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of psychology students from historically underrepresented groups.
