Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian with expertise in pediatric nutrition to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality nutrition care to our patients, particularly those in the pediatric department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nutrition care process to screen, assess, diagnose, offer nutrition intervention, and monitor the nutrition status and progress of patients.
  • Use the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Practice in Nutrition Care and Standards of Professional Performance for registered dietitians.
  • Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized nutrition plans to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based guidelines in pediatric nutrition to ensure the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field and 4 years of clinical experience, or a graduate degree in nutrition or a related field and 2 years of clinical experience, or a post-graduate degree in nutrition or a related field and 1 year of clinical experience.
  • CSP - Certified Specialist in Pediatrics.
  • Current active registered dietitian status with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Current active licensed status with the Florida Department of Health.
