About the Role:

This is a critical position that requires a high level of technical expertise and customer service skills. As an Imaging Service Engineer 2, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair medical imaging devices, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and calibrate equipment as needed
  • Interact with clinical health providers to identify technology-based problems and provide solutions
  • Participate in on-the-job training programs to stay up-to-date on technical, administrative, and customer service requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in electronic, biomedical engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, basic networking theory, and safety precautions when servicing high voltages and working with ionizing radiation
  • Ability to analyze electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment and isolate, test, and replace defective parts
