Job Title: Imaging Service Engineer 2

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Imaging Service Engineer 2 to join our team in Galveston, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration tasks
  • Interact with clinical health providers to identify technology-based problems
  • Participate in on-the-job training programs
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and communicate effectively
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of imaging experience
  • Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule as required
Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
  • Knowledge of basic networking theory
  • Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and standards
  • Knowledge of safety precautions when servicing high voltages and working with ionizing radiation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GE MRI and Hologic 3D Tomo experience
