We are seeking to enhance our dedicated team by hiring an Experienced Metal Roofing Specialist to assist our residential and commercial production teams.

Types of Work:

  • Installation of metal roofing systems and related components such as flashing, gutters, soffit, fascia, cladding, and custom fabrication.
  • Steep slope roofing applications including asphalt shingles, cedar shakes, slate, and tile.
  • Low slope roofing solutions utilizing TPO, EPDM, and Modified systems.

Key Responsibilities

Metal Fabrication and Ordering

  • Conduct field measurements and ensure accuracy.
  • Design and create layout plans.
  • Fabricate metal components as per specifications.
  • Order pre-engineered metal trim elements.
  • Operate and maintain metal fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Manage metal inventory effectively.
  • Transport fabricated metal to job sites.

Metal Installation Duties

  • Flash masonry walls and chimneys appropriately.
  • Install pre-engineered accessories for low slope roofing.
  • Fit roof edge metal securely.
  • Install parapet wall caps.
  • Set up commercial gutters and downspouts.
  • Install scuppers and collector boxes as needed.

Safety Protocols

  • Adhere to all safety regulations on job sites and in warehouses, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection measures.
  • Report any safety hazards immediately.
  • Refuse to engage in any activities deemed unsafe by OSHA or company policies.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in metal fabrication.
  • Proficient in fabricating, installing, and servicing modern metal roofing systems.
  • Skilled in fabricating, installing, and servicing flashing and metal accessories.
  • Ability to solder and weld light gauge metals.
  • Familiarity with traditional metalworking techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience with computerized metal brake equipment is a plus.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
