Job Summary

CHI Williston Health, a part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in Mammography procedures, adhering to the mission and philosophy of CHI St Alexius Health. You will also be responsible for providing leadership in maintaining MQSA standards and ensuring the quality of equipment and precision testing.

Responsibilities

• Successfully performs screening and diagnostic clinical procedures with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
• Follows established radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
• Manages the routine use and the QC requirements of the equipment.
• Provides appropriate patient care for patient needs.
• Demonstrates professional practice standards.
• Provides leadership in maintaining the MQSA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Must actively work toward registry and licensure in Mammography and Bone Densitometry as required by MQSA and the ND state NDMIRT.
• Radiography skills and clinical experience obtained in School of Radiologic Technology.
• Data entry and analysis skills.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to relate well with Staff, patients, physicians and visitors.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Maintains confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.
• Registered Radiologic/Mammography/Bone Densitometry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and the ND state NDMIRT.
• Preference for one year experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Preference for Bone Densitometry experience.
