Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Job Details:
  • Shift: Day - 5x8 - 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • License: ND State License - Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)
Job Responsibilities:

As a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be responsible for:

  • Operating and managing equipment in a radiology department that includes 1 digital x-ray room, 1 digital fluoroscopy/x-ray room, digital portable x-ray in ER, c-arm in OR, c-arm procedure room, 2 CT rooms, 1 mammography unit, 1 MRI, 1 Dexa, and 3 ultrasound machines.
  • Performing common imaging studies such as trauma, orthopedic, OR, long leg, and scoliosis exams.
  • Completing approximately 40-50 scans/studies per day in collaboration with multiple technologists.
  • Utilizing Meditech for electronic medical records and McKesson PACS and CRTIS for image storage and management.
  • Using Siemens digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment, Siemens portable digital x-ray, and GE c-arm.
  • Working under the guidance of a manager available Monday to Friday during shifts.
  • Participating in a rotating on-call schedule and responding within 20 minutes if necessary.
  • Assisting with transport tasks in other modalities if the workload permits.
  • Adhering to a dress code of gray scrubs, which are not provided by the employer.
  • Engaging in up to 3-5 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation based on experience.
Additional Details:

Weekends: CT team handles after-hours x-ray duties. Rad Tech/X-ray tech may be on call for high volumes or major trauma but sees low volume for call-backs.

Holidays: Closed for major holidays with a rotating on-call schedule.
