Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy high-performance cloud solutions using Azure PaaS services.
  • Lead the strategic transition from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, leveraging best practices for cloud integration and migration.
  • Implement Azure API Management (APIM) to create, manage, and monitor APIs.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to create a cohesive cloud strategy that aligns with application needs and DevOps standards.
  • Optimize cloud resources for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with security standards.
  • Ensure robust disaster recovery and backup solutions are in place, tailored to cloud-based operations.
  • Stay current with Azure services and technologies and recommend innovations that enhance our capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud computing with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Defender, and other Azure security features.
  • Proven track record of successful on-premises to Azure cloud migrations.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, networking concepts, and security best practices within the Azure environment.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar technologies.
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate are highly valued.
