Job Title: Plant Controller

At UGN, we are seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join our team. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will be responsible for directing financial activities of the plant and managing dissemination of financial information to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing database, including product information, raw materials, and trade items.
  • Establish and maintain standards for raw materials, trade items, and purchased finished goods.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to improve plant efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to plant management and employees, including projected sales forecasts and profit and loss statements.
  • Coordinate and oversee annual physical inventories and ensure accurate and timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with CPA or MBA preferred.
  • At least five years of related experience and/or training, with previous Plant Controller experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, database software, manufacturing software, and payroll systems, with experience with Microsoft applications and Oracle ERP system a plus.
