Job Summary:
MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a CRNA, you will be at the forefront of patient care, delivering expert anesthesia services in a variety of surgical and procedural settings. Your expertise in anesthesia management will be essential in performing pre-anesthesia assessments, administering anesthesia, and monitoring patients throughout their procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer anesthesia to patients for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluate patients' medical history, conduct physical exams, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures to ensure stability.
• Oversee patients' recovery from anesthesia, managing pain and monitoring for complications.
• Inform patients and families about the anesthesia process, risks, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Respond quickly to anesthesia-related emergencies, providing necessary interventions and support.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
• Current New Mexico and federal DEA certificate.
• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of New Mexico.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current certification as a nurse anesthetist from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• Current New Mexico CRNA license.
