Job Summary

Per Se Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Construction Engineer to oversee the construction of renewable energy facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of construction, managing engineering contractors, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the work performed by contractors to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in Mechanical Construction activities and oversight.
  • Assist in the management of engineering contractors, including definition of requirements and specifications, review of engineering drawings, and RFI management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records associated with the construction site.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly project meetings and maintain meeting minutes and logs.
  • Ensure Safety and Environmental compliance of personnel and subcontractors on site.
  • Participate in BUILD SAFE implementation and Root Cause Analysis to identify failure modes and reasons.
  • Provide daily reporting requirements for internal and external customers and KPI reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • EIT Certification a plus.
  • Experience in construction of energy facilities or renewable energy industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with project management tools and systems (MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
  • Ability to relocate to project sites during construction and work extended hours and weekends.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Continuous commitment to safe operations.
