Ultrasound Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Carlos Medrano MD. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and prepare patients for what to expect and explaining procedures
  • Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures including positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer
  • Manage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports and files are correct
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faulty equipment
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer is required
  • Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance to state regulations
  • Current ARRT or ARDMS license is required
