We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Digital Medicine team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient flow and prepare patients for examinations and office procedures.
- Evaluate patients, document information, and take vital signs as required.
- Clean and stock examination rooms, maintain supplies, and ensure pharmaceuticals are properly managed.
- Perform and record laboratory results, including urine dip sticks, and ensure follow-up with physicians or other healthcare professionals.
- Triage medical calls, return calls, and document patient interactions in the medical record.
- Establish recall systems for physical examinations, pap tests, and abnormal test results.
- Call patients who miss appointments and document no-shows and follow-up actions.
- Prepare, administer, and document immunizations, injections, and laboratory tests according to standard procedures within the scope of practice.
- Receive and evaluate patient referrals as required.
- Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing program.
- Current Massachusetts LPN licensure.
- Three to twelve months of experience in a healthcare setting.
