Breakfast Attendant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Attendant to join our dynamic team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving our daily breakfast bar, ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and satisfying experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve the daily breakfast bar, including setting up and maintaining the breakfast area according to brand standards.
  • Interact with guests, handle special requests, and provide personalized service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day and order supplies as required.
  • Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrates, and stock coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
  • Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other products, and arrange both cold and hot food items.
  • Clear and clean tables as they are vacated, and maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area, including removing trash, cleaning counters, cabinets, and floors.
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments, and ensure safety by following security procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • No prior experience is required, but is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
