About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at IntelyCare in Hinsdale, IL. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary
  • Observe residents' conditions during your shift and report any concerns to the broader nursing team
  • Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, change linens, and maintain a hygienic environment
  • Communicate with medical staff and residents, and serve as a conduit between the two
  • Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed
  • Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide companionship
Requirements
  • Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Knowledge of medical terms and basic nursing care procedures
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with medical professionals and residents
