About the Role

Moffatt & Nichol is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Honolulu office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing waterfront structures and marine infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for concrete, steel, timber, and other materials
  • Inspect and rehabilitate waterfront structures
  • Manage marine structural projects and teams
  • Provide construction support and knowledge of shoreline protection materials and breakwaters design
  • Assist in project management and budgeting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
  • Hawaii Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months; Hawaii Structural Engineer (SE) license or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred
  • 6-10 years of experience in Marine structural engineering design and project management with a consulting firm or marine related client
  • DOD structural engineering project experience required
